This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is diverse and an inviting environment! Everyone who visits us loves how friendly and caring our students and staff are. I love the bright faces smiling so eager to learn the lessons of the day! Regardless of what life throws at them, they optimistically make their way to school, knowing that they will have a safe, warm and loving environment waiting.

My students mean the world to me and I want them to know that the community supports them.

My Project

Please help me get my students telephones so that they can acquire the English language! This year I’ve been fortunate enough to work with students who do not read, write or speak in English. While I’m very happy to teach them this becomes very difficult if we don’t have the materials necessary.

These phones will not only be used by English language learners but also for students who need to practice their fluency!

My students will be very excited to use these everyday and without realizing it they will be on their way to becoming proficient readers! We thank you in advance!
