My Project

As I go through my literacy journey as a teacher, I have grown incredibly passionate about my students path to becoming successful readers and writers. My students love to learn, and are incredibly motivated, but still face challenges with foundational literacy skills.

The resources I am requesting will help my students build foundational skills with sound mapping, both with boards and magnetic tiles.

Additionally, sometimes kids may mix up various sounds, so the mirrors will help them see how their mouth shape in a letter, and help them to understand! These items will offer differentiated instruction, which will allow me to shape my lessons to the needs of individual students, whether they are at the beginning, or need their skills reinforced!

Despite any hardships my students face, they show up everyday ready to learn!
