Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I teach in an elementary (K-3) learning support classroom in a Title I city school. The students in my classroom come to me for academic, social, and emotional support. I service around 12 students with various disabilities and emotional-regulation difficulties. I've learned so much from my students, and I continue to learn with and from them (especially how to laugh, love, and enjoy life).
Many of my students struggle with early literacy skills such as phonemic awareness and phonics, and these games and resources can help build their skills, knowledge, and confidence!
The games such as Splash! Reading Games, Find a Spot Parking Beginning Letter Sounds, Snap n Learn Alphabet Alligators, and the Blender game will help students practice these skills in fun, engaging ways. The other materials, such as the Touch Read Write Wipe Cards, Building Fluency Card Bank, and more will allow me to quickly work with students both in groups and independently to assess their knowledge and grow their skills.
