Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have been excited to return back to school! From the very first day, they have been eager to get back into the classroom and socialize with their peers. My goal for my students this year is to keep them safe, engaged, and happy!

The students have done a wonderful job transitioning back into the classroom, in the midst of a pandemic.

I want to be able to give my students as much emotional and academic support as I can, while still being able to keep them safe from all of the effects of the pandemic. My students have been struggling with foundational learning, such as early literacy skills.

My Project

The Teachers Pay Teachers Card will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My students love to engage in tactile learning and the worksheets are great ways to reinforce skills that have been learned throughout the day. The Little Readers will be used to create phonics and literacy centers so the the students can engage in small group and independent activities. These resources have been chosen with my students in mind.

With these resources my students will be able to choose from a variety of materials that will allow them to practice phonics skills at their own pace and academic level.

My students already have shown an astonishing interest and resiliency and this project will only help enrich their experiences with phonics.
