My Project

Phonics-based decodable readers give students opportunities to practice decoding while reading engaging stories and subject matter. Books in these series progress according to specific phonics skill levels, and can be used for guided instruction or independent reading.

Decodable readers are an important addition to any 21st-century classroom.

I want to provide a variety of materials that will allow for differentiated instruction and different learning styles. As educators, we know there are a plethora of research-based strategies for improving literacy in the classroom.

Reading Intervention provides students with an opportunity to increase reading, writing, test taking, and study skills at their instructional level. Each group of decodable readers is designed to meet the individual needs of students within a small group setting. The pace of instruction is modified to allow for different rates of learning.

I encourage you to support this project, which will provide phonics-based, hi-lo, and high-interest books for my students.
