My Students

The current atmosphere of my school is trying to rebuild school pride and improve its participation in the community. Often you'll hear conversation between students or students and teachers about what we need to have in our school. We have built a fountain of ideas ranging from a "Fun Club" to different after-school activities the students want to have.

As part of an underfunded urban district, students often find themselves limited by the lack of support for their interests.

I have seen my students thrive if they are given the opportunities and belief that they can succeed.

My Project

Rising artists are served with the challenges of trying to sound as good as the professional artists heard in their headphones everyday. It can be a defeating feeling when a typical iPhone recording sounds so static with a lot of background noise. It's like a violinist playing on an entry level cheap violin. Imagine how he or she will rise to perform better when they have a quality instrument in their reach.

My students are very creative with their musical and artistic compositions, and they deserve an opportunity to use quality microphones and equipment to record their natural sound un-abrupted by the surrounding noises.

This interface will serve as the first of many vital components to establish a recording studio in our classroom.
