Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am incredibly proud of my seniors in the Health and Medical Careers Academy (HMCA).

These hardworking, determined students are preparing to take the ExCPT exam, an amazing opportunity that allows them to graduate high school with a nationally recognized pharmacy technician certification.

This certification can open doors to immediate careers in healthcare—a rare and exciting achievement for high school students.

How These Resources Will Help:

The materials I’m requesting are essential for my students’ success:

Index and Note Cards: These will help students create flashcards to master key terms, medication names, and classifications through active recall.

Books on Medicines: These will provide in-depth information on drug classifications, uses, and mechanisms, helping students build a solid foundation of knowledge.

Reference Guides: Portable resources will allow quick review of important facts, making last-minute studying more efficient and effective.

These resources will give my students the tools they need to study effectively, boost their confidence, and pass this challenging exam.

What Makes My Students Special:

My students are inspiring because of their ambition and resilience. They’ve spent four years preparing for careers in healthcare and now have an incredible chance to earn certification that will launch them directly into the workforce. Many are first-generation students striving to make their families proud and create brighter futures.
