My Project

Students love reading but the problem is that I don't have many books at their lexile level.

Pete the Cat books are a majority of my students favorite type of book.

The problem is that half my class is reading below grade level. These Pete the Cat books are at level 1 and 2 and the students can decode and read them for leisure.

The sentence strip dry erase boards are used daily during our handwriting lessons. We like them because it is easy to store in their desks and they only practice writing upper and lowercase letters.

The rug will be placed in our library where students can sit and enjoy reading for leisure.
