Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have a love for reading popular children's book characters. In particular, one character my students absolutely love the most is, Pete the Cat. As a token of appreciation for Christmas, I want to give my students Pete the Cat books. My students always borrow Pete the Cat books from our classroom library. However, they are asked to return it. I no longer want to ask my students to return the book, in fact, I want them to be the owner of one! It will make my students ecstatic to receive Pete the Cat books and Pete the Cat personalized items such as pencils, erasers, activity pad, and birthday cards. These resources will make my students merry just in time for the holidays.

Also, I requested disinfected spray, air fresheners, and tissues.

The winter season is around and my students have been getting sick. In order to ensure we have a clean and dust-free environment, I need these cleaning items for my classroom. Every day, I disinfect my classroom. My students love coming to a clean and a sweet scented classroom. My students say each morning, "Wow, this room smells soo good." It's great that they appreciate being in a clean environment.

Lastly, I need a post it chart and sharpie markers in the classroom. I've ran out of it. Having a post it note chart and sharpie markers will be beneficial when creating anchor charts to help student learning. Students can look at and use the anchor chart as a reference when completing their work.
