My Project

My students love science and enjoy coming to the science lab because they get to observe and take care of the many animals that we have. They are natural inquirers and love participating in hands-on activities.

After attending a professional development this summer about Science Notebooking, I became enthusiastic to get all of the necessary materials to set my students up for success!

This project will give us the notebooks needed to capture their learning as well as labels and stickers to decorate and personalize their notebooks. The Ziploc bags and bins will be used to keep our notebooks organized, clean, and safe from spills!

I am excited to bring this practice into my classroom, as I know science notebooks will bring structure and organization but also creativity and joy in learning science.
