My Students

My students are cute, fun, active, little ones. This year is going to be particularly tough because of the COVID pandemic in NYC. We have limited resources and a small space to work in which will really be a damper on these little ones, especially for my Physical Education class. Due to covid, we are unable to use shared equipment this year and my students will be reduced to only body movements from a socially distant position. It will be very limited. These kids need excitement this year, especially when they are not able to interact with each other the way they used to. Covid sucks!

My Project

Due to COVID, students are not able to use the school equipment and they are very limited to what they can do in physical education this year. Physical education should be a fun time for kids, especially during this time where they have such limited social interactions.

I am looking to fund this so that my students will be able to have their own personal equipment bags for when they are in school and at home.

My students are from a low income area and the school is mostly a minority school. If schools happen to close this year, they won't have to worry about purchasing their own items or missing out on activities if this gets funded. These items are essential for any PE class. Please consider helping my students and give them the proper education they deserve during such a tough time!
