My Project

Middle School is a time where there is a lot of changes with our young people bodies, hormones, social circles and I want my students to be concerned about focusing on their grades and schoolwork. Personal hygiene is critical to health, esteem and safety. Sometimes my scholars don't have access to hygiene products at home and we try to provide it for them at our school.

We do frequent talks on the importance of personal hygiene and I have a hygiene drawer in my office.

Students are able to come, ask and take any hygiene products they need without being bombarded with any embarrassing questions. My hygiene drawer needs to be filled with hair clips, combs, brushes, deodorants, sanitary napkins, and body wipes for the boys and girls.

This grant would help my students to practice good life skills and provide them with hygiene products necessary to be well-groomed and odor-free.
