My students are from one of the largest districts in the state, but live in and attend school in a low income neighborhood.

My Project
Our students come to school daily, eager to learn. Often times the need for personal hygiene items could arrive unexpectedly. The lack of these essential items can lead to self-consciousness in our scholars and also disrupt the learning process. This project will allow me to have some of the basic items available for students at all times.
Poor hygiene can affect a student's behavior and academic performance in addition to compromising their health and confidence.
Having access to these items at school would make a difference for many of our students. No student should have to go without essential personal hygiene items. Providing these items for the students would make a significant impact on their lives.
