Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help our students build their confidence and hygiene skills. Some of our families struggle to meet the basic needs due to financial strain. Oftentimes students will come to school without washing their face, brushing their teeth, or doing their hair. These personal pouches will allow the students to have an emergency personal pouch that they will be able to take care of those basic needs and not be embraced in front of their peers. Plus provide them with a snack to keep their brain fueled and ready for learning. The students will learn the importance of personal hygiene and take pride in themselves which boosts their confidence and helps them learn in the classroom.

The students at are eager to learn and want to succeed.

They just need a little tender loving care and guidance of how to succeed at the daily routines as well as the academics.
