My Students

My students are a diverse group of individuals whose learning abilities vary. Many students benefit from visual and kinesthetic learning methods during science labs and lessons. The students are all very engaged during science and are able to relate any lesson to real-world examples during their daily lives. I have six lab groups for each 7th grade class, each representing a historic scientist that made a revolutionary invention or discovery.

My students are determined to understand why and how everything in the world works the way it does.

My Project

Help my students be able to visualize the periodic table's elements. Most students have issues with the periodic table and feel overwhelmed with all of the elements. This item will benefit my students for the next science unit and lab. This periodic table can be double-used as a visual reference for the 8th grade science students as well during their state exam reviews. It would be a great addition to the science lab and for all of the students that are learning substances, elements, solids, gasses, and liquids. This periodic table with elements will be a great addition to the science lab!
