Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items will be shared with students who have difficulties obtaining their menstrual supplies. We have requested period kits, which will be given to students as needed. In addition, our support personnel will share the snacks with students who visit our offices in need of a "pick-me-up." We have received beef jerky from donors in the past and students have responded well to these snacks. Thank you for helping us get more supplies and snacks to our students.
The other hygiene items, wipes and deodorant, will also be shared with students as needed.
