Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During lunch, students from any class are allowed into my classroom to hang with their friends and finish their school work. Since so many students are frequenting my classroom, having the necessities at hand will be important for their continued success.

Having a sanitary pad and snacks closet available for students who are struggling with their monthly friend will encourage and allow students the time they need to complete their work, as well as get something to eat.

Students shouldn't have to choose between wanting to eat or being able to finish their schoolwork. We allow them to do both.
