Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am incredibly proud of my students—their resilience, curiosity, and determination inspire me every day. They come to class eager to learn, but for some, a lack of access to basic necessities like period supplies can create unnecessary stress and distractions. No student should have to miss class or feel uncomfortable because they don’t have access to the products they need.

The period supplies we’re requesting will make a huge difference by ensuring students have what they need to focus on learning rather than worrying about their next pad or tampon.

By stocking our classroom with essential period products, we are promoting dignity, confidence, and equity, allowing every student to feel supported and comfortable in school.

Our goal is to create a shame-free, accessible space where students can discreetly get the supplies they need, when they need them. This project is about more than just products—it’s about empowerment, education, and breaking the stigma around menstruation.

What makes my students special is their strength and perseverance. They deserve to feel confident and secure every day, and with your help, we can ensure that no student has to choose between their education and their basic needs. Thank you for supporting this important initiative!
