Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Did you know that girls in elementary school are starting their periods at younger ages than before? This can be an exciting yet confusing time, so it’s super important to support them as they experience these changes.

Imagine a girl getting her first period at school—it can be overwhelming!

Having period products readily accessible can really make a difference. When girls know that these items are available, they can feel more at ease and focus on enjoying their time at school without worries. Providing hygiene pads, tampons, briefs, and towelettes will greatly help in creating a safe environment for them. A heating pad can also bring comfort during menstrual cramps. This support is especially important for girls in low-income communities, who may struggle to afford these essentials.

Let’s come together to create a warm and welcoming environment for all girls, helping them feel confident and supported during this special time in their lives!
