My Students

My classroom consists of twelve hardworking and energetic students who enjoy writing about various topics whenever they can!

My twelve students are in a self-contained special education classroom due to various learning disabilities, many of which are literacy based.

My Project

Technology is intertwined into the lives of all my students every day. Each day, we use the Smartboard to engage in classroom lessons and activities. Students use computers to develop personal skills throughout the school day. This printer and ink will allow my students to take their published, handwritten writing pieces and transform them into typed, creative pieces that can be printed out and displayed proudly.

Donations to this project will allow my students to grow as writers and artists!

Students will become familiar with the keyboard and how to produce a typed, published piece of writing. Students will also learn how to enhance their writing for the reader by adding illustrations. Students will be much more engaged and determined to finish writing their pieces so they can type them up and publish!
