My Students

How do we create an atmosphere where students love to learn? By providing them with choice and more independence in the classroom! I have taught 4th grade for the last 11 years and am eager to provide this year's students with the best materials and supplies available.

It is important to me that my students develop a love of learning.

Students have expressed an interest in trying flexible seating. We are in need of supplies to make this more manageable on a day to day basis.

My Project

My students are out of pencils and we are only half way through the year. My students need brand new pencils so that they can continue to complete our daily classwork. They need pencil holders so that they don't loose or break these new ones.

We are dabbling in flexible seating.

Each day students can pick a new location to sit. By providing students with bigger pencil boxes, they will be able to more easily store their supplies and transfer them to each day's new location. By providing students with the same pencil boxes, they will stack nicely on our book shelf and make our storage and organization easier.
