This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Percussion instruments are some of the hardest instruments to maintain. Many programs only acquire the minimum. This keeps ensembles unable to reach their full potential. Many percussion players are either fighting to have a part to play or doubling on parts and not learning how to play correctly.

The goal of this project is to make sure that my students have quality instruments to reach their full musical potential.

My students are trying to play more difficult music and need these instruments.

My students are extremely hard working but come from families who cannot always provide everything they need. These students have a great passion for music, and this will help the ensemble reach their goals.
