This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every school year, the first thing we teachers do is provide our students with a list of supplies that they will need. And every year, we wait with bated breath to see those supplies come through the door. Sometimes we are pleasantly surprised, and at others we are...not.

This year, I want my students to be supplied, organized and ready to work right off the bat.

I want every student to have the requisite materials without having to worry if they or their parents have purchased the correct thing. I don't want students to fall behind if they do not have personal supplies the first few weeks of school.

My goals for my students this year are to improve their reading levels and writing skills. This takes consistent practice. Students need organized structures in place to help get them into good habits at the beginning of the year. Your help with that will be invaluable. Thank you in advance.
