My Project

Who doesn't like to have a special pen that glides across the page? Or that perfect highlighter to take notes and make sure the important words and phrases stand out on the page? My students are no different! As we enter testing season and move in on preparing for the NYS Regents exam and continue to write essays, I'd like me students to practice with pens and highlighters that help them feel comfortable and confident.

Having a reliable, good writing pen and highlighter is one of the tools my scholars need to feel confident in their writing and annotating!

As 8th graders my students are learning to write in pen on a regular basis and must use pen on the NYS ELA and Algebra Regents. In addition, we continue to work on annotation skills and using a highlighter to highlight the most important words and phrases to support our understanding of the text and test questions.

In addition, as a teacher I also create eye-catching and informative anchor charts to display around the classroom to support my students in their learning. Chart markers will allow me to create vibrant charts that my students can refer to.
