Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The school I teach at is a Title I funded school and the majority of our families are considered low income. These supplies will take the burden of purchasing new supplies off of the families and make it so all students have exactly the same supplies to use each day. These materials will help my students be successful at completing tasks and learning at school. Please help give my students something to write with!

Students use pencils at school non-stop and we are in need of more pencils for the beginning of the school year.

Students often lose pencils or finish them with all the writing we do at school.

I as a teacher always provide a tub full of pencils so students can feel comfortable getting a pencil anytime in case they forget, lose, or finish their own. Please help give my students this very essential school supply.
