My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. My students are all different types of learners and have various backgrounds. I have students who do not speak English, students with disabilities, and some students who are homeless.

I teach at a Title I school in New York where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many of my students receive food and clothing from the school's charity drives. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.

My Project

My students come to school everyday ready to learn, but many lack the tools they need to be successful.

Some of my students come to school stressed becasue they do not have a pencil.Pencils are so vital to success in school becasue that is the number one tool that the students need to complete everything.

Having this project funded would mean we would have pencils for the rest of the school year and o student would ever have to worry about coming to school without their supplies. Not only would this help the students, but it would also help their parents who also worry and struggle to provide their family with supplies.
