Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) classroom of 24 students, about half of whom receive special education services. Our students are eager to learn and need the resources to be successful in their studies!

Our students come from various economic backgrounds, with most of our students receiving free lunch.

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them for the rest of the day!

My Project

My students need #2 pencils and erasers. My classroom does lots of writing and we use a lot of pencils. We also use pencils for math when students practice calculations for addition and subtraction. Student feedback is critical in the learning process–and because my students are dedicated—they use lots of pencils and erasers.

Since my students always seek to improve, they always erase the wrong answer and re-write it with the correct one, therefore lots of pencils and erasers are needed.

New pencils and erasers come in handy during testing season also. The amount of pencils and erasers requested is for the entire school year! Your donation will help my class achieve our goal together!

My pencils and erasers project may seem small – but will have a large impact on the success of leaning for my students. Your donation is greatly appreciated!
