I love that my classroom is filled with third graders who are eager to learn and write every day. My students fill their notebooks with knowledge, research, and experiences from their hearts. We want our students to focus on academics, not worry about the fact that their pencil is lost or broken! Having basic supplies such as sharpened, ready-to-use pencils helps our students keep their attention on what matters most. It also allows us teachers to dedicate more attention to our classes rather than how to problem solve around not having enough supplies. Having personal pencil tubes will also help students learn responsibility by keeping their learning supplies neat and organized. It is important for students at this age to start keeping track of their own supplies to prepare them moving forward into higher grade levels!
