My students live in an area where violence is an everyday occurrence. They have been trained as peace keepers (peer mediators) to help students resolve conflicts peacefully.

The students have been provided with a room in the school to hold the mediation sessions but there are no supplies there. It is very plain and not very inviting to students who have volunteered to be a part of the peace process.

We are in need of materials to spruce the room up. The students also need bins and folders to store paperwork such as referrals and completed mediations. I believe that the materials requested would make their jobs as mediators a bit easier.

Your donation would empower our students to continue the work they have started by giving them a legitimate and inviting space to conduct their mediation.
