My Project

I hope this message finds you well! I am writing to share an important need in our Pre-K classroom and ask for your support.

As you may know, being in school for over 6 hours each day is quite a lot for our 3- and 4-year-olds.

To help them stay energized and ready to learn, we have structured their day with various activities such as outdoor play, in-class center time, music, art, and a crucial rest time. Many of the children take full advantage of this time, resting their little bodies and recharging for the rest of the day. Some students may not sleep but still enjoy a peaceful rest period, and we are looking to create a calming ambiance during this time.

To enhance the rest experience, we are hoping to add dimming lights to provide a soothing, quiet environment for those who are awake but need some quiet time to recharge.

Unfortunately, the rest mats we have been using are starting to show significant wear after daily use. Despite our best efforts to maintain them, the mats are beginning to fall apart, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to keep them in good condition. We typically replace them every two to three years to ensure our students have a comfortable, clean space to rest during their busy days.

We are reaching out to our community to ask for donations to help us purchase new mats and dimming lights. A donation of any amount would go directly toward providing our students with the necessary rest equipment they need to stay healthy and engaged throughout the day.

Your support would make a tremendous difference in the daily lives of our young learners. Thank you so much for considering this request.
