My Project

Thank you for helping my students learn in the welcoming and comfortable environment that they deserve! Help me transform the harsh fluorescent lighting of my classroom into a more calm atmosphere with lamps and light covers. My students have requested a change in lighting specifically ,and I understand why they've sought this: learning is engaging, fun, and should feel supported, and walking into a space with inviting lighting is the first step to helping them feel ready to learn and part of a warm community. I am also requesting snacks as many of my students feel hungry throughout the day and feeding them will support their basic needs and facilitate their ability to learn.

Every day I tell my students how much I am happy they are here, and these furnishings and snacks will help them show them they belong in the space and that their desire for comfort is recognized and honored.
