My Project

During these difficult times our students are having trouble coping in various situations.

The impact that Covid 19 has had on them is tremendous.

Many of our students have missed time in the classroom, resulting in challenges with social skills. They are re-learning how to share, make friends and follow classroom guidelines. Establishing a supportive community within our classroom is imperative for their emotional development.

Art is a wonderful way to express feelings and learn how to work together. Having these art supplies and flexible seating materials will provide a very important aspect of learning in our classroom. These materials will be used in our recovery area as well as guided lessons on creating peace artwork and murals
