PE Technology to Enhance Whole Group Instruction

My Students

My students need your help! The students that will benefit from this project have special needs and individualized education plans (IEPs). The students' ability levels vary from beginner to advanced. The more opportunities they receive, the more successful they will be throughout their adult years. With your help, my students can get physical education supplies that are geared toward each of their personal ability levels!

My students range from ages 14-21 and all have a love for learning!

Each of them learns and is successful in their own ways. With your help, donations will be used towards items that can be utilized to promote fitness for life!

My Project

My students enjoy participating in whole group activities such as dancing and yoga. Being in a low income area it is hard for us to get supplies needed to make this happen. On a daily basis my classes are using really small computer screens to follow a yoga video or trying to go along to a dance video while getting really close to the computer screen.

Having a projector to use in my class will improve my class environment and get my students more active which will in turn improve their quality of life.

It is proven through studies that exercise and dance are ways to help improve academic success. When individuals with disabilities participate in physical activity, they not only get a chance to release energy, but they find new outlets to express themselves. Having a projector will help my students in so many ways!
