Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Though we face challenges today, I am nonetheless endeavoring to create rich, meaningful learning experiences for our children. I want to ensure that our students of all backgrounds are able to access our curriculum and cultivate their learning skills.

My 4th graders are filled with unique brilliance.

They are each unique individuals who are enthusiastic about learning. Many love to build, play with their peers, and challenge themselves. These children are capable of empathy, wonderful creativity, and critical thinking.

My Project

This project will provide my amazing students with much-needed materials for their math and PE. Students will surely fall in love with their new math games. My plan is to create fun, engaging math centers in which students can consistently practice their skills. This will be a great way for learners to improve their math fluency as well.

Students will be using these PE and math materials on a regular basis.

All of our kids need a sufficient amount of physical activity. It is important that they have the right equipment to exercise while we're at it. I lead our PE multiple times a week, and I know our kids will enjoy these resources extremely.

In addition, items in this project will be used to improve our classroom environment. Students need a clean, welcoming surrounding, and I will ensure it makes them feel safe as well as valued.
