Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The requested items will allow me to design and implement activities to further enhance my Physical Education lessons while making them engaging to all learners. My students enjoy P.E. time since they are actively engaged and mobilizing the whole time. Often, there aren't enough materials to play games properly or learn the skills needed as described in the state standards.

The cones will be used to create boundaries when playing games.

They will also be used to practice running back and forth at a desired distance in order to practice for the Pacer Test. Students will also use these cones to warm up major body muscles while playing games.

The foam balls will be used to practice soccer skills such as dribbling and kicking, all while keeping safety in mind since they are made of foam. The foam balls will also used to build community and teamwork while playing games such as "castles."

Lastly, the bean bags will be used to create activities and games that will help students create a stronger core without realizing it, since they will having lots of fun playing competitive games. They will also be able to play tic tac toe while building aerobic capacity.
