My Students

I am tasked with the pleasure of teaching enthusiastic, second-grade students in all subject areas. These students are curious, intelligent, and creative beyond all measure but teaching from home has made things challenging. They attend a visual and performing arts magnet school in Los Angeles. Since our school is an arts magnet, we try to integrate art in all forms into as many subject areas as possible. The students at this school come from various backgrounds with various life experiences. Funding for some of our materials is difficult to come by. I appreciate you coming to our page and would appreciate any​ support you could give.

My Project

I am excited to be back at school, however, something that I have noticed is that students have not been able to have exposure to many sports activities over the past two years. I am hoping to teach my class some basic skills for throwing, catching, hitting, and I also want to get them familiar with the sport of volleyball because we have a court on our campus. I believe having these materials like the tetherballs, volleyball, paddle ball sets and racquet will help give the students some experiences that they can carry with them throughout their lives. I also believe it will help them have fun during PE at school.
