PE Equipment for Our Elementary School

Help me give my students basketballs for PE. We have courts at schools but lack adequate basketballs to use

My Students

Most of my students come for lower income communities and may not have the opportunity to play sports outside of school. I love to see all of the kids active playing ball or participating in other outdoor activities. My students are super energetic and love playing sports . These basketballs will allow the kids to be active and learn team building skills. They all love playing ball when they come to PE but because of limited equipment this is not always possible

My Project

These basketballs will give the children the ability to play on the courts during PE. We will be able to use them for all grade levels so they are getting physical activity while enjoying playing basketball. Basketball teaches both fine and gross motor skills. It also gives the children the ability to learn team sports and how working with others as a team will allow them to score baskets. They will also learn that it’s not always about winning hit about learning skills both on and off the court to help their classmates and teammates. Not to mention it burns a lot of energy.
