Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

It is about the middle of the school year and we need PE equipment. My students love playing and doing daily physical activities yet we need certain supplies to enhance the school year.

These items will greatly help my students participate and enjoy new games.

Every year I have to buy a lot of the most basic PE equipment for them from my own funds.

My school's enrollment is about 700 students and they all receive free lunch. We receive Title I funds in addition to funds for English language learners, which comprise about 40% of our total enrollment.

My Project

Since the beginning of the school year 3 months ago we have been playing the same 3 sports: kickball, soccer, and dodgeball because we lack other PE equipment. I would love to teach my students new sports/games but lack the financial resources to buy such equipment. Please help me buy such goods to play other more exciting sports/games. My lessons would be so much more engaging if we had what we need. My students have expressed how much more exciting PE would be if we had a parachute and more soccer balls.
