My Project

All our students learn Tae Kwon-Do which aids in their coordination and discipline. In Tae Kwon-Do, we focus on creating a good moral culture and strong work ethic. The students have the opportunity to challenge their physical ability with techniques used in choreographed patterns. The uses of left and right movements in their pattern help the students with the development of spatial awareness and working memory.

The kicking shield will teach the students strength and technique.

Board breaking provides an opportunity to test their confidence in their own abilities. It challenges the student to step out of their comfort zone.

The students enjoy the opportunity to do Tae Kwon-Do and learn about Korean culture and language. The goal is to further my students' understanding of themselves through the discipline learned in Tae Kwon-Do.
