Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach AP Calculus to a highly gifted class of seniors. I had to move this class to the computer lab in order to use a PC Projector.

I have a wireless SmartBoard (bluetooth airliner slate/tablet) that I want to use in my math classroom where I will teach Calculus next year. At present, I can only use this SmartBoard in the computer lab where I teach Computer Science as this is the only room with a PC AND a Projector.

So, my students really need a PC Projector for the math classroom! My Calculus students would greatly benefit from having a PC Projector since I have a PC in the math classroom already! What I'd like to do for my students is record my lessons (everything I write on the SmartBoard and everything I say recorded via PC Mic) and save the lesson as a video online. My students could then access old lessons for review whenever they have the need to or when they miss a class! Of course, we would also have the sort of interactive lessons in class that are only possible via a SmartBoard! Further, I could use various PC programs to enhance the teaching and learning of math.

Most neighboring schools have had this kind of technology available in several classrooms for years now. My school never seems to have the funds for this! Please help this AP Calculus Teacher.
