Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year, I created a Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) for my school. Many of our students struggle with behavioral problems and often get in trouble. The implementation of the PBIS aims to reduce behavioral issues and focus more on the student's positive behaviors. A fundamental piece of the PBIS plan is to have students earn rewards and use their reward money to buy items in our school store. The items on the cart, such as the playground balls and games, will be used in the school store to motivate our students and encourage positive behaviors because good behavior deserves to be rewarded.
