Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our PBIS team at OHS. Our school is a firm believer in equity and promoting and recognizing positive behavior on our campus. Over the past few years, we have worked diligently and tirelessly to promote a culture of positivity amongst all stakeholders on campus, and we believe that this project, if funded, will help further our goals of facilitating H.E.A.R.T on our campus. We love our students at OHS. They are diverse, energetic, creative, and have a desire to make their school and community a better place. However, we know there is more that we can do to support them and support our positive community at OHS. By specifically funding our H.E.A.R.T incentive program, you are helping our PBIS team continue its work in building a culture of positivity and positive behavior at OHS. The donations of pimple pouches, treats, and LEGO bricks to this program will specifically help further facilitate positive relationships between students, between students and staff, and between other stakeholders. Moreover, by helping fund our H.E.A.R.T incentive program, your donations are helping our PBIS team continue to create a safe place for all students, and continuing to help OHS in site's overall goal of creating a positive and inclusive space for all students so they can engage more effectively in their learning.
