My Project

Our school has implemented a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS) system in our school community. PBIS is research-based and it focuses on improving our schools climate which creates a safer and more effective school community. One of our main goals is to teach expectations and support positive behavior for all students. Our Bee Rules consist of Be Kind, Be Safe and Be Responsible.

Our primary way of achieving this at our school is a Bee Reward system to help create a sense of responsibility and community amongst our students.

We have classroom systems already in place where the children can earn a variety of rewards and incentives. But we are piloting Individual Bee Rewards for each student, starting in our 5th Grade classroom. Therefore, please help fund our Reward Bee Boxes Project as an extra incentive for our students to display positive behavior. The project consists of funding the students’ physical prizes such as slime, Play-DOH, fidgets, special pens and bookmarks with inspirational messages. We believe with your support, we can create a more positive classroom and student experience.
