My Project

This is the first year I've been an art teacher, and I'm so excited that the school has asked I integrate art with what the teachers are covering and that the students are so enthusiastic about learning. As they are learning about the American Revolution, I thought it would be an amazing time to show them a little more about the influence of art on society. Paul Revere is often referred to as one of the first American Illustrators, because he created propaganda imagery for the Boston Massacre, and his occupation was as a silversmith! By combining learning of symbolism and an early American career process, I feel that it will help the kids bring history to life!
