Becoming better citizens, brightening America's future, developing future ambassadors, scientist, teachers, military power is what we do. My classroom has students for all walks of life. Students with learning and emotional disabilities; early high school graduates; college bound students you name it we got it. The most amazing part they are growing and learning in the same small, tight knit, school community. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are mini inspirational leaders to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are will become future leaders, business owners and productive citizens of our communities across the globe WHY?... Because WE are going to make it happen for each other. Our future and I want to give them a great start to their long dreams and journey!!
My Project
This year we want to focus on building teamwork, develop Espirit de Corps within our JROTC. Taking young men and women out of the small town environment allowing them to focus on each other all the while learning and experience what our veterans have encountered over the last 50 years will hopefully be an eye opener for most. Out intent is not to just travel and say we went on a trip it is more about building a sense of Patriotism, Pride and Passion for country. Being able to show the cadets the way of life and such a time honored tradition will have an impact on their life when they make decisions beyond high school.
