My students need construction paper to illustrate their thoughts and ideas.

Teaching in an environment without all of the necessary resources is extremely hard to accomplish. Especially when the necessities include paper. Paper can get expensive especially when my students are drawing on construction paper at least twice a week! I teach third grade in an urban area. My students include ELL students, which are English Language Learners.

My classroom is lacking supplies such as paper. In a third grade classroom, the students are constantly being asked questions to stimulate their minds and imaginations. I ask my students to "visualize" books as they are reading. My students love to draw their visualizations out on paper, which helps them to comprehend and understand the subject matter.

My students are in need of construction paper. The students in my classroom will be able to draw their visualizations and participate in many other activities. Paper is a necessity in any classroom with ELL students. The ELL students will be able to display their visualizations to me which will show their complete understanding of what we are discussing.

Your help will ensure that all of my students will have the opportunity to use supplies that are necessary in a third grade classroom. A donation to my classroom will make it possible for students to receive the quality education that they all deserve.
