My Students

The above affirmation is recited by the students, preceded by 15 seconds of mediation before class begins daily. I tell them that you are who you believe you will become. This affirmation sets the tone and expectations of the class.

I teach at a Title I school in Atlanta; the majority of the students are from low S.E.C. and they do not always have access to technology. They are eager and willing to learn. I foster an environment conducive to learning where students believe and become everything they aspire to be.

My Project

I'm asking to be gifted with Wacom - Intuos Pro Pen Tablet, wireless pass-along technology, which gives way to quick & easy student participation without them leaving their seats!!! We are also asking for sound technology. Oftentimes, the sound goes out on our projection apparatus which prohibits the students from watching instructional videos or listen to sounds which activate ultimate concentration and focus. Lastly, we are asking for an external hard drive to store our projects on. Please help us to maximize instructional time, providing efficient sound technology, and a place to store our projects with quick & easy access. Thanks for supporting us in our educational endeavors!
