Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love all of my students, they are wonderful resilient individuals. Our school was just blessed with ten refugee families from many different countries. The students need pencils, notebooks, scissors, markers, and crayons. The pencils will help them write or draw, the notebooks can be used for word study and writing (homework). The scissors will help them with cutting words for their word study.

This project will help them take some materials home in order to do homework and help them keep busy, as all of the families are living in shelters.

The students have expressed to me that they don't have TVs and have nothing to do, so I believe that with these materials will help them pass time.
