Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need fun activities to promote physical wellbeing. This parachute is a great way to incorporate outdoor play into their everyday lives and the curriculum. It is important for kindergarten students to be introduced to healthy behaviors. Children's wellbeing is a combination of their physical, emotional, mental, and social health.

When children play with the parachute it will help strengthen their shoulders, arm and hand muscles, as well as refine their growth motor skills and develop their sense of rhythm.

The swing-and-catch cups will help my students eye and hand coordination and promote self confidence as they achieve their goals. The gofindit cards will encourage sensory outdoor discovery as they explore nature while outdoors.
