Paper Recycling

My Project

My community does not seem pro-recycling. This is evident in my school. There is minimal recycling if any. Now, we can can begin this recycling journey any where, but we are going to start with plastic bottles and paper. This is a part 2 of our project!

A successful school wide recycling program will change our school, our students, and our community.I want to put a paper recycling bin near every copier and in every classroom in our entire building.

We are already an "all digital" school, but there is still plenty of paper accumulated. The paper will be collected and shredded or tossed directly into the compost pile located at the Ag Barns where our school chickens will take care of it naturally. Hopefully we can also work in the importance of recycling into our Family and Consumer Science, Environmental Science, and Ag Education programs as well.
